SECTION 02 / M25 AIRCON
Using the website
This website is intended for lawful information and service enquiries. Visitors should not attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the website, upload unlawful material or knowingly provide false information.
Unless otherwise stated, the website’s design, text, artwork and other materials may be protected by intellectual property rights. Reproduction for commercial purposes requires appropriate permission, except where law permits it.
SECTION 03 / M25 AIRCON
Enquiries, quotations and scope
Sending an enquiry does not itself create a service contract or guarantee a booking. The scope, timing, equipment, price and any specific conditions should be agreed through a written quotation or other clear agreement.
What a quote should cover
The proposed installation or service, included materials, access requirements, any VAT treatment, lead time and any deposit or payment milestones.
If extra work is identified
Changes discovered during assessment should be explained and the revised scope and price agreed before extra work is undertaken, subject to genuinely urgent, legally justified safety measures.
Published service descriptions are general. A property’s layout, existing equipment, electrical arrangements and technical assessment may affect the recommended solution.
SECTION 04 / M25 AIRCON
Your responsibilities
Customers should provide accurate property information, explain known equipment problems, allow safe and reasonable access at agreed times and disclose restrictions that could affect the work.
Where relevant, permissions from a landlord, freeholder, managing agent, planning authority or another party should be obtained by whichever party is responsible under the written agreement.
SECTION 05 / M25 AIRCON
Appointments and changes
Appointment dates, expected durations and site arrangements should be confirmed with the customer. Equipment supply issues, access constraints, unexpected safety concerns or other circumstances can require a practical change of plan.
If you need to change or cancel an appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. Any applicable cancellation charge or rescheduling condition should be made clear in your written agreement, subject to statutory consumer rights.
SECTION 06 / M25 AIRCON
Payment and invoices
The accepted quotation or invoice should make clear what is payable, any VAT treatment, the agreed payment date, how payment will be collected and any instalments or deposit arrangements.
Deposit and balance
Any deposit, advance payment or stage payment required for a particular project should be stated in the accepted quotation or agreement. Statutory rights concerning cancellations and refunds are not excluded.
Payment security
Always verify any unexpected request to pay a different bank account by contacting the business through an independently trusted number or email.
Any payment dates, methods and legally applicable terms for late payment will be communicated in the agreed quotation, invoice or service agreement.
SECTION 07 / M25 AIRCON
Cancellation and UK consumer rights
Some consumer contracts agreed at a distance or away from a trader’s business premises may attract a 14-day cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, subject to the detailed conditions and exceptions.
If a consumer asks for a service to begin during a relevant cancellation period, the information and consent requirements, and the rules relating to payment for work already performed, should be explained before work starts. Particular exceptions may apply to expressly requested urgent repairs or maintenance.
Nothing in these terms is intended to remove your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable law.
Business-specific cancellation process
The business must confirm its cancellation contact route, any model cancellation form required, handling of bespoke equipment, deposits and the arrangements that apply when work has already started.
SECTION 08 / M25 AIRCON
Installation, servicing and repairs
The written agreement should state the equipment, materials or tasks included. Equipment performance, efficiency and suitability depend on factors such as system specification, property conditions, use and maintenance.
Where work requires electrical or refrigerant competence and certification, it must be performed in accordance with applicable UK legal requirements.
A particular equipment warranty or workmanship guarantee applies only where it is accurately described and agreed; this website does not create an additional guarantee by itself.
SECTION 09 / M25 AIRCON
Liability and legal protections
No provision on this website is intended to exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Consumers retain the statutory rights and remedies that apply to the services they purchase. Business-to-business limitations, where appropriate, must be stated clearly in the particular enforceable agreement.
SECTION 10 / M25 AIRCON
Personal information
Information submitted through the contact form, email or phone should be handled in line with the final Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection requirements. Storage technologies, where used, are explained in the Cookie Policy.
For information about website enquiries, personal data and cookies, read our Privacy Policy, Data Protection page and Cookie Policy.
SECTION 11 / M25 AIRCON
Questions, complaints and disputes
If you have a concern about an enquiry, quotation, scheduled appointment or completed service, please contact the team as early as possible and explain the circumstances.
If you have a complaint about an enquiry, quotation or completed service, please contact us with the relevant details so it can be considered. This does not affect your statutory rights or your ability to use other remedies available under law.
SECTION 12 / M25 AIRCON
Governing law
These proposed website terms are intended to be interpreted under the laws of England and Wales without depriving consumers of any mandatory protections that apply to them.
The jurisdiction provision for a concluded service agreement should be reviewed for the business’s actual trading arrangements and customer location.
